We adopted a puppy in August who was diagnosed with severe separation anxiety disorder, coupled with extreme dependency and shyness. She'd hide behind our legs and growl at other dogs and people at the dog park and would growl at kids who would come up to her. In December, our vet told us that we had 2 months to get this under control, otherwise she could eventually bite someone out of fear. We tried everything ourselves to help her, but nothing seemed to be working.
Finally we decided to take her to doggie daycare. We are extremely proud to say that after just 2 months, Keely is a new dog! She is excited to meet new dogs on walks, she sits calmly with new people, she even plays actively with the other dogs at daycare all day long.
We were most proud last week at the vet. They went on and on about how "Keely was a different dog now." She never shrank back in fear with them, and she never growled. Instead, she played with them and was perfectly obedient. We can honestly say that without doggie daycare, Keely wouldn't be the happy, go-lucky puppy she is today. THANK YOU CAMP K9 for saving our girl!

"I just love this place. When my Mommy and Daddy drop me off the nice ladies are always there to great me and play. I meet new friends every day and I get to play with other doggies my size (I'm 120 lbs). I get to go outside all the time. I even lay in the sun. This is so much better than being home alone. I need special attention for some reason; I guess I'm a bit energetic. The nice ladies always take extra time to make sure I'm happy. They are the best. Next to my Mommy and Daddy of course."
Sincerely, Cosmo
Our dog Yogi has been going to Camp K9 since August of 2007. We couldn't ask for a better place to leave our pride and joy. Renee & Michelle along with all the volunteers at Camp K9 treat Yogi like he is their own. Everytime we pull down the block Yogi knows where he is going and pulls us out of the car to the front door. Seeing him get so excited to be there makes it a wonderful experience not only for him but for us as well. It's nice to know whether we leave him for a day or a week that he get as much love and attention that we give him at home. If you don't want to board your dog or keep him home alone I would highly recommend Camp K9 to you!
Our dog Aspen had been traumatized during a recent overnight boarding stay at her vets. It was the first time she had been boarded without her companion Shelby, since Shelby's death in June '07. We were hunting for an alternative boarding solution, and Camp K9 was it! We took Aspen for two days to Day Camp to see how she did. Day one ok, day two, much better. We then brought her to an overnight stay,,,yeah...she did great! Aspen is not a real social butterfly at camp, and will let other campers know when she is displeased with THEIR behavior, but her Mom & Dad are very happy that we have found a place for her to stay and be loved and watched over! Thanks so very much !!
Molly my shih-poo absolutely loves her visits, she gets so excited every time we go. What's really great is that I get so see her playing on the web-cam. I think it's important to socialize our dogs, it builds confidence and it's great to see them having so much fun. Michelle and Renee are wonderful with the dogs. I know I can rest assured that Molly is in the best of hands at Camp K9.
Thanks!

My husband and I took our rescued dog, Starkey, to Camp K-9 to have him learn to get along with other dogs. They were the ultimate professionals. I would not hesitate to leave Starkey with them for any amount of time that we were unable to take him with us.

I LOVE CAMP K9! I've made lots of new friends.....all different breeds. Everyone plays nicely together. I especially like our trips outside, although our indoor play area is pretty cool.....lots of toys. I've stayed overnight a few times and that's really fun. I'm not scared when it storms like I am sometimes when I'm home. My birthday was in January, and I got a bandanna and a party hat. My Mom and Dad sent special treats for all my friends.

I was afraid my first few times....I'm kinda afraid of dogs....but after a couple of times it was very cool. Miss Renee and Miss Michele make sure that everyone plays nice together. I also like the teenage volunteers. They pay a lot of attention to me. I get a lot of scratching and petting.

"We tried a couple of doggy daycares in the area before Camp K9 opened and always felt a little uneasy when we said goodbye to Layla at the other daycares. It's been a completely different feeling since she began attending daycare at Camp K9. We say goodbye to her now and KNOW that she is in great hands with the staff there. Layla is always excited to go to daycare in the mornings and exhausted when she comes home! We're also impressed with Camp K9's cage-free boarding services. We liked being able to check in on Layla via the webcam, which was very comforting when we were 900 miles away from her!" Brian, Jackie & of course, Layla
Camp K9 is the best thing to come to Pasco. We hated to go on vacation because our dogs seem so unhappy and upset when we came home. We drove up to Camp K9, after a weekend outing, to find our dogs outside playing and having a great time. We felt like they had a vacation too!
Thanks Cal and Oreo
We really appreciate the services of Camp K9. It is so great to be able to go away knowing that Sadie is not only well taken care of and loved but is really having a good time. When we bring her back it is like "old home week". The video-cam is good and fun. All of the staff is friendly, caring and accommodating.
Thanks for being there Camp K9!
Mary and Robert and Sadie too.
We bring our Silky Terrier, Bacardi, to Camp K9 and he absolutely loves it. He gets so excited as soon as we pull into the parking lot. We feel good leaving him there for either the day or overnight lodging. We know that he is in good hands and being well cared for. I am so happy that we have such a great doggy day care in our area. I recommend them to everyone.

Camp K9 is great! Renee & Michele are very loving and caring and we feel completely confident in leaving our pets there. When I pull up to the door Gizmo gets so excited and can't get in the door fast enough to play with all his buddies. I have always been very hesitant in boarding our pets but at Camp K9 I know they are in good hands and are being well cared for while we are away.

"As I work from home, I haven't used Camp K9 as a day care, however, I have used them when I have gone on vacation for a few days. Being a VERY active dog (JR terrier), she needs a lot of exercise; and being a very social dog (with her owner at home with her all the time) she is a bit of a spoiled attention junkie. I love the attention that Camp K9 gives to the animals and the exercise they must get because she was exhausted when I picked her up....It was GREAT! When they say they rotate the dogs every 45 min, they must really do it because I taught Brooklyn (my dog) to ring a bell when she wants to go out to potty and for the week after I brought her home, she rang the bell EVERY 45 minutes...haha. Brooklyn loved her time there and I was happy knowing she was being so well cared for. Camp K9 will be the first place I go to when I need to leave her again. Thanks Camp K9."
